Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team to contribute to the upkeep and repair of site assets and office buildings to ensure they are maintained and in good working condition

Responsibilities

Regularly inspecting buildings as directed by the Estates Manager. Perform routine maintenance jobs and repairs as needed, to include plumbing, structural damage, reconstructing fixtures and roof damage repairs. Implementing preventative maintenance. Overseeing 3rd party facilities contractors. Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with health & safety regulations Coordinate Scrap metal and general site waste collection and disposal. Installation and maintenance of physical CCTV infrastructure Maintenance of site vehicles and machinery. Maintain sufficient stock levels of fuels, oils and lubricants. Working with guidance from other departments, such as electricians and mechanical to ensure site assets, including antennas are maintained. Operation of site equipment such as telehandler, cherry picker, and tractors. Seasonal gardening and grounds maintenance

Qualifications

Proven hands-on experience in similar role Effective communication, and interpersonal skills at all levels Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks based on urgency Ability to work independently when safe to do so Fluent in English (Verbal & Written) MEWP Operator Telehandler Operator Confidence to work at height Full UK driving licence
Desirable:

Proficient in MS Excel, and Word Chainsaw user Competent use of pesticides Proficient MIG Welder
