Are you ready to lead the way in keeping our communities clean, green, and well looked after?
We're looking for a confident and capable
Estate Services Contract Manager
to take charge of the day-to-day delivery of key estate services across our Surrey and London regions. You'll be managing contracts for things like grounds maintenance, cleaning, bulk waste, and caretaking - making sure our neighbourhoods look great and work well for the people who live there.
This isn't just about keeping the grass cut and the bins empty - it's about leading a team, working with suppliers, driving performance, and making a real difference to the lives of our residents. If you love variety, thrive on responsibility, and care about creating vibrant, well-maintained communities, we want to hear from you.
What's in it for you....
In addition to the salary, we offer a number of benefits, including:
High street discount schemes
Health cash plans
26 days' annual leave, increasing to 29 after three years, with the opportunity to buy more
Flexible bank holidays - take them when it suits you
Car leasing scheme
Hybrid working - offering you the flexibility to thrive in your role. You'll have the opportunity to blend the best of both worlds, spending approximately two to three days per week in the office once settled in the role. This is flexible and depends on meeting cycles and board activity. We also offer an optional nine-day fortnight scheme, allowing you to compress your hours if it suits the role.
What you'll be doing......
Oversee day-to-day estate services including cleaning, caretaking, tree management, bulk refuse, and grounds maintenance
Lead and support a team of caretakers and Estate Services Officers
Monitor contractor performance, making sure we're delivering top-notch service and value for money
Build strong partnerships with local authorities and suppliers
Keep a tight handle on budgets, making sure we stay on track and efficient
Use data and feedback to improve our services and meet residents' needs
Be a visible and approachable leader for your team - encouraging innovation, high performance, and job satisfaction
Make sure everything we do is safe, compliant, and resident-focused
What we're looking for:
We're after someone who:
Has at least 2 years of relevant experience
Has a strong background in estate services or grounds management
Knows their stuff when it comes to landscape maintenance, cleaning, trees, and contract delivery
Holds a relevant horticultural qualification (like NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
Has a solid understanding of service charges and budget management
Is a people-person - great at motivating teams, dealing with contractors, and keeping residents happy
Is organised, reliable, and always looking for ways to do things better
Has a 'can do' attitude and genuinely cares about the places our residents call home
If specific qualifications are required, please upload them with your application to demonstrate your eligibility.
At PA Housing, we believe in respect, integrity, and accountability. Our work is about people - not just properties - and we're always looking for ways to do better. If that sounds like your kind of place, we'd love to hear from you.
