To undertake duties/tasks in building services engineering including installation, maintenance, calibration, testing and repair on the full range of Electrical engineering and building Estates and Hospital equipment/services. Demonstrates problem solving skills and fault diagnosis. Undertakes work in accordance to statutory, mandatory and HTM requirements and acts as a "competent person" where required
Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and breakdown maintenance to all aspects of electrical plant, distribution and equipment including work of a technical and/or non-routine nature. Perform duties covering the testing and fault finding on a wide range of electrical engineering plant and equipment, including but not restricted to; electrical distribution, lighting, fire detection, building control & automation, standby generators, laundry equipment, nurse call systems, data communications, steam raising plant and associated equipment, kitchen equipment and theatre ventilation services.
