Are you an experienced Sales/Estimating Administrator, looking for a fresh challenge?

Our client is an established specialist fibrous plastering company based in Southeast London, who carry out specialist finishes projects from the Commercial, Residential, Retail/Leisure and Restoration/Conservation sectors. They are now looking for a Junior Sales & Estimating Coordinator to join their team with ambitious plans for growth.

Salary: Circa \xc2\xa323,000 (Could be negotiable depending on experience).

Location: Bromley area

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm with an hour break.

This role is office based and will serve as support to our sales and estimating teams as well as the first point of contact with our customers going through the quote to purchase journey.

Key duties include:

  • Answer inbound telephone calls to Sales and Estimating departments and handle as appropriate in a professional manner.
  • Monitor email inboxes for new sales enquiries that require pricing by an estimator, requests for site visits or material samples.
  • Manage e-commerce sales by responding to customers/orders and then keeping manufacturing and delivery staff updated. Maintain sales data records.
  • Upload sales enquiries to CRM (Accelo) and add to estimating schedule.
  • Respond to technical enquiries in a timely manner with assistance from senior staff.
  • Manage any obvious RFI\'s - BoQ available, site visit possibility, specifications, missing drawings, dimensions, return dates, minimum order value, etc. to get all possible information prepared so it\'s possible for an estimator to start work.
  • Arrange site visits with QS/estimators. Log within the estimating schedule.
  • Manage sample requests received from clients by sourcing and sending the correct materials, preparing a cover letter, packing & shipping.
  • Schedule estimates by prioritizing: return date, regular customers, good potential new clients, secured jobs, key products, etc.
  • Set up estimating folders by project. Populate with enquiry email and download all necessary files and content so they are ready to price.
  • Finalise completed pricing estimates with templated PDF proposal document and send via CRM or Outlook with appropriate covering email.
  • Complete CRM progressions, tasks and project value, then update estimating schedule and tender register.
Desired skills and experience:
  • Candidates will be expected to demonstrate politeness, deliver exceptional service, consistency, go above and beyond, and build trust.
  • A can-do attitude and establishing relationships with key internal stakeholders are vital.
  • A large part of your job will be working in collaboration with Sales/Estimating/Marketing/Accounts and senior management.
  • Time Management - with a multifaceted role like this and many competing deadlines, juggling efficient time management is a must.
  • Full time employee.
  • Polite, professional and enthusiastic.
  • Computer literate (MS Office).
  • GCSEs in Maths and English (grade 4 and above)
  • Keen to learn and progress career into sales or estimating.
  • Interest in architecture and the built environment an advantage.
  • Driving licence and own transport.
