We are seeking a skilled Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective planning strategies to ensure project success. This role requires a strong understanding of cost control and the ability to manage resources efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities



Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all phases. Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information for planning purposes. Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed to stay on track. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues. Prepare detailed reports on project status, including cost control measures and resource allocation. Collaborate with stakeholders to align project objectives with organisational goals. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience



Proven experience in a planning or engineering role within a relevant industry. Strong knowledge of cost control techniques and methodologies. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. A degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field is preferred but not essential if experience is demonstrable.
