Job Description

Lamont Stone is recruiting an Estimating Person / Receptionist to liaise and greet our customers, along with providing costings for their projects.

The successful candidate will meet customers in our showroom and stone galleries, lead them through the various choices available and then produce estimates from this meeting, using our estimating programme.

Since this person will be the first point of contact for our business, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication and telephone manner, a friendly demeanor, strong organizational skills, and an eagerness to assist customers. If you are someone who would enjoy engaging with people and assisting them with their project, we'd love to meet you.

Full training will be provided for all aspects of the job.

Job Overview

Answering and directing incoming phone calls. Meet and greeting all customers and visitors. Ensuring all guests receive a positive impression of the company. Notifying and liaising with staff to ensure that customers are dealt with in a professional and efficient manner on their arrival. Addressing queries and requests via telephone, email and online. Ad-hoc administration as required. Assist customers in choosing materials that best suit with their plans. Provide accurate estimates in a timely manner.

Skills & Experience Required

Microsoft Office - basic knowledge Maths accuracy Confident telephone manner Excellent verbal and written communication skills Friendly and personable Strong team player to work within a busy team
Although it is not essential, being able to read plans would be an advantage.

Monday to Friday 9-5 Every other Saturday 9-1

Pay: 21,000.00-24,000.00 per year
