Overview

Allsports Construction and Maintenance is a market leader in the sports construction industry for over 20 years. We deliver high quality projects including synthetic pitches, multi-use games areas, running tracks and associated civil engineering and building works.

We are fully owned by Tarkett Sports Ltd, a European leader in innovative sports surface solutions, including synthetic turf, hybrid turf, athletic tracks, and indoor sports flooring.

As part of our growth plans we are looking for keen, able and committed staff to help deliver projects mainly across Scotland but with some work in the rest of the UK.

As part of your duties you will be office based in Cumbernauld but will have some travel to sites across Scotland when pricing works and meeting clients.

Duties Include:

Implementing company strategies as agreed with Directors. Liaising with clients to understand project requirements. Ensure that the company quality procedures are maintained at all times. Identifying opportunities Leading on Tender returns Pricing work Placing subcontractors orders Monthly valuations Reporting

Experience

The successful candidate will have:

Appropriate qualification in quantity surveying or civil engineering or related subject - e.g. HND/C or Degree. Previous experience working as an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor with a civil engineering or sports contractor. Understanding of contract conditions . Knowledge of the tendering process. Full UK driving licence.

Motivated self starter with ability to take initiative. Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities. Ability to oversee multiple tenders concurrently. Excellent commercial awareness and ability to develop opportunities to maximise profitability. Excellent attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: 40,000.00-50,000.00 per year
