Job Description

London Decking Company is a specialist decking contractor delivering high-quality residential landscaping projects across London and the surrounding areas. We work predominantly with premium composite products and pride ourselves on professional delivery, clear communication, and excellent site standards.

We are looking to appoint an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to join our growing team. This is a senior, hands-on role and is not suitable for junior or trainee candidates.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing projects from initial enquiry through to completion, ensuring jobs are accurately priced, well planned, and delivered efficiently on site.

This is a combined office- and site-based role, requiring strong organisational skills, technical knowledge, and confident client communication.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing accurate and detailed quotations for decking and associated landscaping works Conducting site visits and surveys across London Managing projects from acceptance through to completion Coordinating labour, materials, and site schedules Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams Overseeing site quality, programme, and health & safety standards Problem-solving on site and making informed decisions when required Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to company standards

Essential Experience & Skills

Proven experience in estimating and project management within landscaping or decking Hands-on experience with composite decking systems, specifically Trex & Millboard Strong technical understanding of decking construction methods Excellent communication skills - written and verbal Highly organised with strong attention to detail Confident decision-maker and problem solver Full UK manual driving licence Able to work independently and take ownership of projects

Working Hours

08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday Some flexibility may be required depending on project demands

Salary & Package

40,000 per annum
