We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring that all financial aspects are meticulously calculated and documented. This role is crucial in helping us maintain cost control and delivering projects within budget while meeting client expectations.

Responsibilities

Analyse project plans and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to gather necessary information for accurate estimations. Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data relevant to the estimation process. Prepare and submit bid proposals, ensuring compliance with client requirements. Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budget constraints. Maintain records of all estimates, including changes and adjustments throughout the project lifecycle. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques to enhance estimation accuracy.

Experience

Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in estimation software and tools is advantageous. Demonstrated ability in cost control practices and financial management within construction projects. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
