This one's for an Estimator who can take full ownership of bids from first read to final submission. Someone who's comfortable being the

go-to person for estimating

in a smaller, well-run contractor -

heading up a team of one initially

You'll be pricing a strong mix of

Collaborative working with PMs/QS and senior leadership - no silos You'll be trusted to run your lane and shape the bid process
The work (the good kind)

You'll take ownership of estimating from start to finish, including:

Reviewing tender docs, drawings and specs and pulling together a clear plan Producing accurate

take-offs / BoQs / cost plans

Packaging and sending enquiries, chasing returns, levelling and validating quotes Pricing prelims, clarifications, and identifying value engineering opportunities Supporting bid submissions / presentations and ensuring compliance Handover to delivery teams so the job runs smoothly after award
Who fits

Proven construction estimating background (ideally

fit-out / refurb / new build

) Comfortable being the

lead estimator

and owning the process end-to-end Strong commercial judgement - not just "plugging numbers in" Confident with MS Office and estimating tools/systems Calm communicator who can work closely with site, commercial and leadership teams
Salary / package

65,000-70,000 per annum
