is a Civil Engineering contractor, based in Glasgow, specialising in Balance of Plant contracts to serve the renewable energy market throughout the UK. We are recruiting for an Estimator to join our team.

About us

Green Cat Contracting Ltd is a privately owned Civil Engineering contractor, based in Glasgow, working across several specialisms including, earthworks, roads, drainage, structures, with a primary focus on renewable energy and wind projects.

Due to ambitious growth plans we are seeking anEstimator to join the team that will sit within the pre-construction/tendering side of the business. The Estimator will report to the construction manager and project delivery team. The Estimator will need to demonstrate the following as a minimum:

Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying

Min 3 years Specific Civils Estimating Experience Ability to price from first principles Strong technical knowledge within relevant projects (200K- 10M) Ability to manage own workload to produce accurate information Experience of pricing in house labour / plant as well as sub-contractor packages Working experience of relevant software Full UK Driving Licence
