Our Commercial Division is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Estimator to join our busy team. Position Summary

The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate costings for a range of commercial window and door projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring project profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents to prepare accurate material take-offs and cost estimates. Liaise with clients, contractors, architects, and internal teams to clarify project requirements. Ensure product selections align with project specifications, building codes, and customer expectations. Prepare and submit quotations based on project scopes, timelines, and product availability. Follow up on submitted quotes, assist with revisions, and support the sales team in winning projects. Accurately process orders for commercial windows and doors using internal systems and supplier platforms. Coordinate with production and scheduling teams to ensure smooth workflow from order to delivery. Maintain detailed records of estimates, quotes, change orders, and purchase orders. Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, industry standards, and company offerings.

Requirements & Qualifications

Attention to detail is essential -- accuracy in quoting and order processing is a top priority. Experience in the fenestration industry is highly preferred but not mandatory. Candidates with backgrounds in construction estimating are encouraged to apply. Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications. Strong computer skills; experience with estimating/order entry software is a plus. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
