We are currently seeking an Estimator to join our growing team. Responsibilities:

As an Estimator within our fire door division, you will play a vital role in ensuring our projects are accurately scoped, competitively priced, and fully aligned with regulatory standards. Your expertise will directly contribute to the safety and compliance of buildings across the UK.
Prepare precise and comprehensive cost estimates for fire door remedial works, replacements, and upgrades.
Interpret project specifications, technical drawings, and inspection reports to develop accurate quotations.
Manage and prioritise incoming enquiries, maintaining responsiveness and meeting critical deadlines.
Collaborate effectively with internal departments and external clients to deliver tailored solutions and maintain strong working relationships.
Utilise internal systems and supplier databases to analyse project requirements and generate bespoke quotes.
Stay informed of current fire safety legislation, certification standards, and industry best practices relevant to fire door compliance.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
We're open to both seasoned estimators and those with the right mindset and transferable skills looking to grow in a specialist field. Full training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
Experience in estimating, ideally within fire doors, construction, joinery, or a related industry - but we're happy to train those with a strong foundation in commercial pricing or project coordination
Awareness of fire door regulations and standards is a plus -- or a willingness to learn through structured training and mentoring
Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
Familiarity with estimation software and systems is beneficial, though not essential -- we'll support you in getting up to speed
Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with clients
Organised and proactive approach, capable of managing multiple enquiries and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
