Role

This role requires an individual with experience of Estimating for both large and medium sized joinery, fit out and signage projects. With a solid understanding of joinery, construction, temporary and permanent signage products, knowledge of fabrication and assembly the Estimator will be able to help with Sales specifications and deliver accurate estimates forthwith. Working in tandem with design, Production and Sales/Project Management teams this role is an integral aspect to deliver a fluid customer journey.

Responsibilities

The estimating function is the first responder for our Business Development Managers, helping to specify requirements to output competitive, accurate and timely pricing. As a growing team, the need to act fast is crucial in continuing to convert sales prospects into live jobs and robust revenue streams. Writing and pricing of tenders will also be a key responsibility and experience of reading architectural plans will be desirable. Technical knowledge of joinery and signage processes will again be desirable but not essential.

Desirable skills & experience

Proven estimating experience in the sign industry. Specific experience in the Large Format Print and or Signage industry Technical knowledge of signage specification and assembly Experience in writing and submitting tenders. Proven estimating experience in the bespoke joinery / fit out or sign industry. Essential skills & experience

A natural organiser, obsessed with detail, and tenacious about accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal teams Excellent administration skills to ensure project life cycles are smooth and fluid. A real team player who is also happy to work on own initiative but also as part of the collective Adherence to pre-determined pricing policies and preferred supplier lists.
