About the Role

We're on the hunt for an experienced

Estimator

who doesn't just crunch numbers -- you build confidence in every project we quote. If you're part calculator, part collaborator, and 100% detail-driven, keep reading.

You'll play a key role in helping our sales team win work we're proud of -- and making sure our projects run smoothly, stay profitable, and finish strong.

Hours are Monday to Friday 7am till 4pm. 3 Days on site 2 days from home.

What You'll Be Doing

Calculating project costs with precision -- no guesswork, no surprises Building and checking budgets, schedules of rates, and build cost estimates Joining pre-budget meetings and site visits to get your head in the game early Teaming up with sales to get projects lined up in advance for smart estimating Flagging potential risks to costs and timelines (because you see what others miss) Making sure take-offs are on point -- measure twice, quote once Supporting the handover from bid to build with our project delivery teams Preparing clear, sharp documentation -- quotes, presentations, data -- and staying GDPR-compliant

What You Bring

Degree advantageous or real-world experience in Construction, Civil Engineering, Estimating, or similar would be beneficial Relevant experience in estimating or project cost control A solid track record in commercial building projects Excellent organisational and time-management skills Great with PowerPoint and Microsoft Packages Comfortable analysing drawings, specifications, and schedules Knowledge of materials like glass, steel, aluminium, powder coatings is a bonus A full UK driving licence (ideally clean)
