Position Overview:



We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing tenders and cost proposals, ensuring accurate calculations of costs, timeframes, staffing, and material requirements in line with client specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating within the exhibitions, events and interiors industries, with the ability to balance competitive pricing with profitability.

You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to develop precise cost assessments, ensuring projects align with financial objectives while meeting client expectations. Your expertise in evaluating project feasibility, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and delivering clear, structured proposals will be key to supporting the company's success.

Key Skills Required:



- Ability to translate drawings or design visuals into a scope of works and bill of quantities.

- Strong time management skills, able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

- Methodical and structured approach to tasks with strong attention to detail.

- Positive and problem-solving attitude to all challenges.

- Background in, or knowledge of, the production/manufacturing industry.

- Flexibility to adapt within a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.

- Willingness to learn new software and estimating tools as required.

Duties & Responsibilities:



- Prepare costings efficiently for tender responses and contracts.

- Source materials and services, liaising with existing and new suppliers to ensure

competitive pricing.

- Estimate costs, materials, and labour required to achieve the project specification.

- Calculate adjustments for overheads, profit margins, life expectancy cycle,

and contingencies.

- Obtain and evaluate material and subcontractor costs, collaborating with relevant stakeholders.

- Organise and write tender proposals, following the agreed submission process.

- Evaluate and fully understand the requirements of each tender.

- Make necessary amendments to tender documents when required.

- Stay up to date with the latest production and estimating techniques and procedures.

Other Responsibilities:



- Attend meetings as required.

- Collaborate with the Client Services and Production teams to ensure successful project delivery.

- Support additional tasks as required by the management team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,000.00-35,000.00 per year
