ABOUT THE JOB

Based from our Winchester office and working as an integral part of our Pre-Construction Team, the successful candidate will be undertaking all aspects of pricing enquiries up to 10m.

In this role your duties would include:

Working alongside our Pre-Construction Manager and other Estimators to ensure a complete tender return. Processing enquiries from small works up to 10 million and ensuring these are returned on time and at the right price. Using our Estimating software - currently Causeway - to produce detailed estimates that can be used by Greendale staff throughout the job. Visiting potential clients, surveying work, and producing priced schedules so that clear concise documents are available once we win the work, ensuring you have an understanding of client needs / restrictions when visiting. Being able to present tender bids for adjudication. Producing RFIs from tender information for clients' professional teams.

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will be/have-

Experienced in the field of construction. A HNC or above is desirable but not essential. A strong communicator and team player. Able to manage a busy workload and several tenders at once. Be dynamic, innovative, and able to work on one's own initiative. A strong communicator and team player Able to understand 2D and 3D drawings. Good working knowledge of SMM7/NRM. Knowledge of Causeway estimating software package and Microsoft Project (or similar programmes) would be desirable.
