The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and pricing for projects, ensuring competitiveness and profitability. You will work closely with project managers, procurement, and operations to understand project scopes, evaluate costs, and support decision-making.

Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and detailed project cost estimates, quotes, and pricing models.
Analyse drawings, specifications, and project documentation to determine material, labour, and time requirements.
Maintain and improve pricing templates and tools.
Support continuous improvement by helping refine how we price, report, and review projects.
Collaborate with project teams to validate assumptions, track actuals vs. estimates, and identify learnings for future work.
Contribute to the development of new systems, processes, and digital tools as we modernise our approach.
Maintain clear documentation and version control of all estimates and pricing submissions.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
Proven experience as an estimator, quantity surveyor, or cost analyst.
Strong proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
-- including formulas, lookups, and data analysis.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Good communication and collaboration skills across teams.
Trustworthy and team player.
Desirable:
Experience with estimating or ERP software.
An understanding of process improvement and digital transformation.
