Job Description

We are currently seeking a Self-employed Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to support our team on an ad-hoc basis. This role is ideal for a qualified and experienced professional looking for flexible, freelance work with a reputable construction company.

The Role:

As a freelance Estimator, you will be responsible for:

Producing detailed, quantified schedules of works Reviewing architectural drawings and specifications Preparing and submitting accurate cost estimates for tenders Liaising with our internal team remotely Providing support as projects arise

Requirements:

Minimum 10 years' experience as an Estimator and/or Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry Ability to interpret drawings and produce quantified schedule of works High attention to detail and strong written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently from home Own equipment and software (if applicable) Working to strict deadlines

Rate:

300-500 per day depending on experience and complexity of the task.

Working Arrangement:

This is a fully remote role with flexibility. Communication will primarily be via phone, email, or video call. Should face-to-face meetings be required, these will be discussed and agreed upon in advance (though this will be rare).
