Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team in assessing planning and coordinating surveys, generating accurate quotations based on survey reports, and assisting with pricing for tenders. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, financial acumen, and project management skills to ensure the successful delivery of comprehensive fire protection solutions.. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and excellent numerical skills to ensure precise cost calculations.

Key Responsibilities:-

Develop and plan survey schedules and methodologies in collaboration with surveyors. Coordinate with clients to arrange survey appointments and access to sites. Analyse survey reports to determine the scope of work required. Generate detailed and accurate quotations based on survey findings. Review and adjust quotations to ensure competitiveness and profitability. Assist in the preparation and submission of tender documents. Provide pricing support and cost estimates for tender submissions. Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to develop pricing strategies. Conduct cost analysis and prepare financial reports related to surveys and quotations. Communicate with clients to clarify requirements and address any concerns. Provide detailed explanations of quotations and pricing to clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction. Ensure all survey planning, quotations, and tender submissions comply with relevant industry standards and regulations. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes.
Requirements:-

Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction/Passive Fire industry Proficient in cost estimation software and MS Excel Strong analytical skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and negotiation abilities Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field is advantageous
