K&M Engineering Ltd is a well established construction company based in Shropshire, operating in the commercial and industrial sectors with wide-ranging projects in value, complexity and scope, working for valued clients. Through company growth we currently have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This is a full-time, role based just outside Shrewsbury, at Halfway House.

Main duties and key responsibilities include:

Interpret enquiry documents and technical specifications Conduct on-site assessments if required to gather accurate information for estimates Preparing accurate tenders and contract cost analysis. Establishing accurately client requirements, along with developing long-term relationships with clients and generating new business. Liaise with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met Oversee the sales process from prospect to contract handover Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and provide updates on financial status. Valuing completed work

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

Confident communicating with new and existing customers. Attention to detail and commercially astute. Strong organizational and time management skills. Familiarity of working with various forms of JCT Contract. Analytical, problem-solving, and IT skills (MS Office 365 etc.) Sales and business development experience Positive, proactive "can-do" attitude Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
