Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all costs related to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on time, while maintaining high standards of quality.

Duties

Prepare detailed cost quotes using the company's template, for construction projects, including materials, labour, and overheads. Analysing all tender documents including architectural and structural engineer drawings. Liaising with Architects, Engineers, clients and construction suppliers.

Skills

Strong understanding of cost control principles and practices. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Knowledge in all construction materials/prices. Proficient in using quantity surveying and estimation research and related tools. Effective communication skills for liaising with architects, engineers and clients. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong organisational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
