Estimator/senior Estimator

Job Description
We are looking for an Estimator with experience in construction to lead the preparation of accurate cost estimates and support the delivery of competitive, well-informed project bids. This role requires collaboration across the Pre-Construction and wider team shaping competitive bids and ensuring financial viability. Strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential to support project planning and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Review drawings, specifications, and other documentation to understand project scope and requirements. Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, equipment, and subcontractor services. Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to gather pricing and ensure estimates reflect current market conditions. Evaluate tender documents and contribute to bid submissions, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with client expectations. Monitor project budgets and provide cost analysis throughout the project lifecycle to support financial control and decision-making.
Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction processes. Solid negotiation skills with experience in managing contracts effectively. Knowledge of cost control principles and practices within the construction industry. Familiarity with construction site operations and management practices is preferred. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in estimates and reports. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and clients.

Pay: 60,000.00-70,000.00 per year
