SUMMARY / JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for an Estimator / Surveyor to be mainly office based in Crondall who will become an important part of our management team.

The post requires someone who can take responsibility mainly for Estimating with some Quantity Surveying.

The successful applicant will help drive the company to continued success in the industry.

We enjoy having excellent relationships with our clients which is vital in ensuring that the company maintains a healthy workload.

Our core activities are excavations, drainage, external hard landscaping and some reinforced concrete works.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Produce estimates for projects that we have been invited to tender Carry out take offs and prepare Bills of Quantities where required. Identify areas for cost savings and / or programme improvements. Negotiating with other contractors. Positive communication with suppliers Understand and advise on commercial risks and opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience in the Groundworks and Civils sector Producing programmes. Attention to detail Willingness to communicate and work collaboratively Proficient with software and relevant tools relating to Estimating and Surveying. Management experience with ambition to reach senior position within the company.
