Based in Waterlooville, we pride ourselves on professionalism, reliability, and excellence in every project we undertake -- from local schools to major educational institutions across the UK.

We are now seeking a driven and detail-oriented Estimator/Surveyor to join our expanding team.

The Role

As an Estimator/Surveyor at KRP Developments, you will play a key role in the pre-construction and delivery stages of our projects. You'll be responsible for pricing works, preparing tenders, carrying out on-site surveys, and supporting project delivery to ensure accuracy and value.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct on-site surveys. Prepare accurate estimates, quotations, and tender submissions. Analyse drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure competitive and compliant pricing. Monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle and identify value engineering opportunities. Support project management and site teams with accurate information and measurements. Maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.

About You

Essential Skills & Experience:

Previous experience as an

Estimator

,

Quantity Surveyor

, or similar role within construction or fit out. Relevant qualifications in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and measurement principles. Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and estimating software. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites

Desirable:

Experience working with local authorities or educational establishments.
