Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Test Lead with extensive experience in data testing, team leadership, and test strategy creation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data integration, ETL workflows, and BI tools, along with a strong background in software testing practices. This role will involve leading QA efforts across complex data platforms to ensure high-quality and accurate data delivery to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of data testers in executing validation across data sources, data pipelines, and reporting layers. Design and implement comprehensive test strategies and test plans for data-driven projects. Oversee test case development and execution for data ingestion workflows using Apache Airflow or similar tools. Perform ETL testing and validate data transformation and migration processes. Validate data quality rules and collaborate with data engineers to troubleshoot data issues. Ensure data accuracy in reports and dashboards using Power BI and Tableau. Utilize test management and reporting tools like Jira to plan, track, and report on testing activities. Coordinate with business analysts and developers to clarify requirements and resolve discrepancies. Conduct exploratory data analysis using SQL and tools such as DBeaver or Aqua Data Studio.

Required Skills & Tools:

SQL Expertise:

Excellent knowledge in writing complex SQL queries for validation and comparison.

ETL Tools:

Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica IDMC

Data Quality:

Informatica IDQ

BI Tools:

Power BI, Tableau

Orchestration Tools:

Apache Airflow (or similar)

Databases:

SAP DB, Hive (via Hue), SQL Server, MongoDB

NoSQL:

MongoDB Compass

IDE Tools:

DBeaver, Aqua Data Studio

Test Management:

Jira or equivalent tools for test planning and reporting

Leadership:

Proven experience (6+ years) in leading QA or data testing teams

Test Documentation:

Ability to create test strategies, test plans, and detailed test reports.

Conceptual Knowledge:

Familiarity with data warehouse principles and data architecture

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From 31,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Overtime Weekend availability
