Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, Initially starting on Day Shift (08:00-16:30). Potentially moving to Afternoon Shift in near future

We're now looking for a EU Freight Planner!
?A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Produce and maintain both Strategic plans ensuring optimal solutions are achieved from both a cost and service level perspective
• Significant personal contribution towards optimisation activities that drive cost down solutions without affecting service levels.
• Data Analysis to forecast future and retrospective volumes to assess impact to freight plans.
• Investigate operational challenges & data discrepancies and provide solutions in a timely manner
• Co-ordinate the planning solution activity, meeting both the customer & DHL business needs

?THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Operational / Freight Planning Background is Essential
• Ensure all planning is executed within parameters of customer services levels
• Experience with Paragon or other planning systems would be desirable
• Good knowledge of Data Analysis
• IT Literacy, With Microsoft Office Packages, Excel.
