European Marketing Manager \xe2\x80\x93 ViiV Healthcare

Location: UK, GSK House

Job Purpose The ViiV European Marketing Manager is an exciting, high profile position working within the European Marketing Team to drive growth of the key asset in the ViiV Portfolio. This position sees you working closely with the Global Commercial Strategy and Medical Team and European LOCs, as well as with the wider European Commercial and Medical Teams. You will champion the needs of Europe in the development of global commercial strategy and tactics, and you will partner with European LOCs to assist with adaptation and implementation of the global strategy and tactics. You will work with European LOCs to realise local opportunities to drive product and portfolio growth within their own LOCs as well as sharing and scaling this success across Europe. This position reports to the European Marketing Director. Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible delivering the launch of the key ViiV asset (including oversight of launch excellence process)
  • Accountable for yearly brand planning process for this key asset in EU (strategic and tactical plans) and champion the needs of European LOCs within the cross-functional matrix so that strategy and tactic developments are \xe2\x80\x9cfit for Europe\xe2\x80\x9d
  • Partnering and collaborating with specific LOCs to uncover insights and local opportunities to drive launch success
  • Ensure insights from customers and markets within Europe are well understood and are leveraged through a feedback-loop process with other functions, including the Global Team
  • Lead on internal brand communications within Europe, including the high-profile EU Network Call, EU JPS calls and EU comm cell calls
  • Be a valued contributor to the wider European Team and champion appropriate inclusion of PrEP into broader portfolio tactics across the EU team (e.g. Peer to Peer and congress)
  • Responsible for sharing best practices from other regions and amongst LOCs within Europe
  • Participation in EU Copy Approval meetings and sign-off of additional EU assets
Why You? Basic Qualifications
  • Extensive commercial experience in pharmaceutical industry and strong brand management experience
  • Launch experience at LOC/regional or global level
  • Strong communication skills in English \xe2\x80\x93 written and oral
  • Strong track record of commercial leadership at a local level with demonstrated success in leading projects to successful outcomes
  • Demonstrated excellence in influencing and negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences, including senior management
  • Proven track record in stakeholder management and of leading successfully in a matrix environment at all levels of the organization. Master at utilizing organizational channels, experience and influencing skills to facilitate successful project implementation and effective issue resolution
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness. Knowledge of European culture in particular
  • Creative approach to problem solving and ability to challenge the status quo
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in product launch
  • Experience in market access/commercial pipeline/Policy
  • Experience as ABPI commercial signatory
