We're now looking for a European Operations Controller to join our busy team

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

Ensuring that all appropriate transportation and customs documentation is created and processed timely and accurately Ensure that DHL service providers have agreed and sign off any contingency plan and have the correct resources available to act upon the plan. Liaising with carriers to ensure pre-arranged transport from the contingency plan, sourcing other carriers where required to smooth out the collection plan as much as possible. Ensure adherence to internal and external costs agreements and procedures, to avoid and report financial loss and or financial discrepancies Maintain relationships to implement and establish high, reliable on time collection and on time delivery performance and to respond to inquiries / requests of a moderate difficulty level from Suppliers, Carriers and others (internal & external).

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

Transport experience within a Supply Chain or Logistics environment Geographical Knowledge Proactive with a keen eye for detail. Ability to demonstrate analytical and logical thinking Good degree of computer literacy, with excel, access, word and PowerPoint experience Excellent communicator (verbal & written)
