The Role - Senior Logistics Specialist
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Senior Logistics Specialist with a strong background in freight forwarding to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring the seamless movement of goods across European and domestic supply chains. This role is pivotal in optimising processes, maintaining compliance, managing key relationships, and delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities for Senior Logistics Specialist

• Oversee end-to-end freight forwarding operations including import, export, and cross-trade shipments.
• Coordinate with carriers, customs agents, and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation to ensure full compliance with global trade regulations.
• Negotiate competitive rates and contracts with logistics providers and manage exclusive fleet portfolios.
• Lead continuous process improvements, maintain accurate records, and support junior team development.

About You We're looking for someone who brings:

• Proven experience in freight forwarding and logistics operations across international markets.
• Strong negotiation, coordination, and supplier management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, shipping documentation, and compliance standards.
• Proficient with logistics software and data analysis to drive efficiency and cost savings.
• A team leader with a proactive mindset, committed to mentoring and staying current with industry trends.
