. To support our expansion, we are looking for a qualified

Electrician

with experience in EV charger installations. This role offers flexibility with nationwide projects, primarily remote working, and occasional office visits for team coordination.

Responsibilities

Install, test, and commission domestic and commercial EV charging points. Conduct site surveys and provide technical advice on charger placement and electrical requirements. Carry out electrical upgrades (e.g., consumer unit, cabling, earthing) when necessary. Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on installed EV chargers. Ensure compliance with UK electrical safety standards and building regulations. Complete installation certificates and maintain accurate work records. Liaise with customers, ensuring excellent service and clear communication.
Requirements

Proven experience as a qualified electrician. Competence in EV charger installations (residential and/or commercial). Strong knowledge of UK wiring regulations (BS 7671). Ability to work independently and travel across the UK. Good communication and customer service skills. Full UK driving licence.

City & Guilds 2919-01 or 2919-02

ECS / JIB Gold Card

(preferred for professional recognition) ?

Inspection & Testing Qualification (City & Guilds 2391)

(desirable but not mandatory) ?

Part P Registration

(for domestic work - NICEIC, NAPIT, or equivalent scheme) ?

CSCS/ECS Card
