to join our clients expanding renewables and EV infrastructure team. You will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining EV charge points in domestic and commercial settings. This is a hands-on role with real impact, helping to build the EV charging network for a greener future.
Key Responsibilities
Install EV charge points safely and efficiently
Electrically wire up charge points, including testing and commissioning
Work with project managers, surveyors, and other trades on-site
Perform pre-installation site surveys and provide technical input
Diagnose faults and perform maintenance or repairs on installed EV chargers
Complete installation documentation, handover packs, and customer briefings
Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and relevant EV standards
Maintain a high level of customer service during installation
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
18th Edition
EV-specific training or prior experience in EV installations
Experience or interest in EV charging infrastructure is highly desirable
Proven experience in electrical installation
