Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to carry out the daily cleaning of a children's care centre in Llangefni. This would suit someone looking for part time evening work, 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of all spaces, including offices, corridors, restrooms, and play rooms. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products to ensure surfaces are hygienic and presentable. Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is running low. Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. This includes colour-coding procedures. Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning tasks. Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and security protocols.

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided. Knowledge of cleaning techniques and familiarity with cleaning chemicals is advantageous. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Good organisational skills and attention to detail. Reliable and punctual. Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Independence and integrity as this is a keyholder position, and the ability to lock up the building and set the alarms each evening.
Hours: 2 hours per evening from 6pm, Monday to Friday

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
