Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This role is essential in providing a welcoming atmosphere for clients and staff alike. the working hours for the role are Mon - 7am - 9am Tues- Friday 5.00pm - 7.00pm = 10 hours per week with option to cover maternity in November for an additional 10 hours per week which will be mon -5pm-7pm Tues - fri - 7pm- 9pm if cover taken this will make the hours temporarily 20 hours a week from november

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, communal and clinical areas to ensure high standards of hygiene. Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs. Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistency in service delivery. Adhere to health and safety guidelines while performing cleaning duties. Assist with special cleaning projects as required.

Skills

Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within set timeframes. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to cleaning procedures effectively. Excellent communication skills for interaction with clients and team members. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or prolonged standing.
