Evening Security Guard - Waterfront Wellness Venue (WYLD Sauna, Princes Dock, Liverpool)

Evenings only, approximately 3-5 hours per shift (seasonal)

Schedule:

7 days per week (rota-based)

Contract:

Temporary / Seasonal (October-March, with potential extension)

Pay:

13-15 per hour (depending on experience)

WYLD Sauna is the UK's first floating sauna and cold-water wellness experience, located on Liverpool's historic Princes Dock. We welcome thousands of guests every month to enjoy sauna sessions, cold plunges, and open-water swimming in a calm, community-focused environment.

Evening Security Guard

to help us maintain a safe, welcoming atmosphere for our guests and team.

The Role

You'll be the on-site presence during our evening operations, ensuring safety, smooth guest flow, and general site security around the floating sauna and quayside decking area.

Key responsibilities:

Provide visible security presence from dusk until closing time (typically 20:00-23:30, adjusted seasonally). Monitor guest arrivals and departures, maintaining a calm and safe environment. Patrol surrounding boardwalk, changing areas, and access points. Liaise with the WYLD team and estate security (Peel / Securitas) via radio when required. Report any incidents, safety concerns, or antisocial behaviour. Ensure guests and staff feel supported, respected, and welcome at all times. Lock up and secure the site at the end of the evening.

What We're Looking For

SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard Licence

(required). Excellent communication and people skills - calm, approachable, and confident in guest-facing situations. Reliable and punctual - someone who takes pride in doing things properly. Comfortable working outdoors and near the water (training provided). Previous experience in hospitality, leisure, or public-facing environments preferred. First Aid qualification desirable (training can be arranged).
