Role Overview:
We are seeking proactive and efficient Production Assistants to support our weekly production and packing operations. This role is ideal for individuals with a positive attitude, looking for a fairly stress-free job, and interested in joining a fun and healthy vegan company.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Depositing/Portioning team by transporting items up to 20kg around the unit (This will be your main responsibility when required).
Pick items for shipment with a consistently high accuracy rate.
Work to realistic timing targets to maintain company efficiency.
Improve processes at Planthood, striving for efficiency savings where possible.
Deposit and seal our fresh chef-made sauces and dressings in the kitchen.
Operate food packing/depositing machines after receiving training.
Qualifications:
Experience in a fast-paced environment with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
Solutions-oriented mindset, adaptable to the demands of a fast-paced food start-up.
Previous experience in a kitchen, production, or warehouse environment is desirable but not essential.
Interest in plant-based food is a plus.
