Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Steward to join our team at Radbrook, Shrewsbury. As a Kitchen Steward, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in our kitchen facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for our staff.

Responsibilities

Wash dishes, utensils, and ensure proper storage Clean and sanitize food preparation areas Assist kitchen staff in food preparation as needed Dispose of waste and recycling following proper procedures Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify when reordering is necessary Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times

Qualifications

Prior experience in a similar role preferred Knowledge of proper sanitation and hygiene practices Ability to work effectively in a team environment Excellent attention to detail Basic food handling skills
