Responsibilities
Support the team during service
Evening cash up
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Train and mentor staff in culinary techniques, hospitality practices, and customer service.
Collaborate with management to develop menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and care.
Ensure smooth communication between kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong culinary experience with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Experience in serving, barista duties, or hotel operations is advantageous.
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
