We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Floor Manager who is passionate about coffee, customer service and contributing to a positive atmosphere. If you thrive in an independent setting, enjoy autonomy and are eager to grow with a new business, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing:



Crafting exceptional coffee - Showcase your skills with espresso extraction, milk steaming and latte art. Serving wine and snacks and engaging with customers - Become a friendly face, guiding customers through our selection with confidence. Providing excellent customer service - Create a welcoming and memorable experience that builds a loyal customer base. Taking initiative - Spot opportunities to improve things, from suggesting stock to enhancing the customer experience. Managing inventory & stock rotation - Keep us organised and ensure we always have what we need. Ensuring smooth operations - Open and close the bar, maintain a clean and safe environment and keep things running perfectly.

What We Offer:



Competitive hourly rate of 12.45 - 12.80 per hour, reflecting an annual gross salary of approximately 24,900-25,600.00 for a 40-hour week.

Schedule: Approximately 28-40 hours per week, anticipating a combination of the following shifts to be discussed:



Monday:

08.30 - 14.30

Tuesday:

08.30 - 14.30

Wednesday:

08.30 - 14.30

Thursday:

08.30 - 14.30;
16.30 - 22.30

Friday:

08.30 - 14.30;
16.30 - 22.30

Saturday:

08:30 - 14:30;
16.30-22.30

The interview will be a brief phone chat, followed by an in-person interview if we see a mutual fit - a chance for us to connect and see if we're the right match for each other - and likely a follow-up opportunity for you to show off your barista skills.

Qualifications



Proven barista experience with a strong focus on customer service Ability to manage shifts effectively and ensure smooth operations Knowledge of food safety standards and practices Skills in food preparation and basic math for accurate order handling Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks during busy periods
