Event Assistant
Duties:
- Provide exceptional guest services and ensure a positive experience for all attendees
- Assist with event setup, including arranging tables, chairs, and decorations
- Coordinate with event managers to ensure the smooth running of all events
- Support event logistics, such as registration, ticketing, and attendee check-in
- Support our bar staff and cloakroom staff
- Assist with post-event cleanup and breakdown
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules
- Knowledge of events and event operations is a plus
We are seeking enthusiastic Freelance Event Assistants to join our team. As an Event Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our events by providing exceptional guest services, coordinating logistics, and assisting with client facing services such as bar, cloakroom and food service. If you have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you.
Please note that this position may require occasional lifting of heavy objects and standing for long periods of time. The ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances is essential.
