We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages while ensuring that all food safety standards are met. This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and serving.
Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and making recommendations.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are fresh and presented well.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Skills
Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices to ensure high standards of hygiene are maintained.
Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders effectively.
Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods.
