Role Purpose



The Event Coordinator will oversee and manage a small team within the event operations department, ensuring all client experiences are delivered seamlessly, to the highest standard, and with exceptional professionalism. This role requires excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills, alongside the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. No workday is the same, and you are often working on multiple events at one time, so the ability to multitask is vital to this role.

-- to ensure every aspect of the client journey is managed efficiently and that the overall client experience is consistently of the highest quality. This is where strong communication comes in, as everyone needs to be on the same page.

Key Responsibilities



Oversee and manage the event operations team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Plan, organise, and execute multiple events simultaneously, from concept to delivery. Office based alongside attending events in the UK and globally to ensure the client experience is of the highest standard and that expectations are met. Communicate effectively with clients and suppliers, maintaining strong professional relationships. Manage event budgets and negotiate prices where necessary. Source and book flights, hotels, ground transport, and event tickets across global destinations, ensuring they are within the event budget. Collect and manage all relevant client information. Identify and solve issues quickly and effectively to ensure smooth event execution. Conduct regular one-to-one meetings with team members and manage their workload and performance. Work closely with the Operations Director on putting together new events, working with suppliers and ensuring all bookings are complete. Checking and signing supplier contracts. Understanding the aspects that go into each type of event and ensuring they are carried out by the team. Proficient in using various event ticketing apps and providing client support when required. Support business growth through exceptional service delivery and client retention.

Essential Requirements



Full UK driving licence and willingness to drive across the country. Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules. Experience in event management or corporate hospitality. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel and Word and the ability to learn new systems.

Desirable



Experience coordinating high-end events. Previous experience managing budgets or small teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00 per year
