Come and join our Security Team at the Watford Colosseum!

We are currently recruiting SIA-licensed professionals to join our security team. As a crucial member of our team, your role may involve patrolling venue premises, responding promptly and professionally to onsite incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic environment.

You will primarily be stationed at the Watford Colosseum, a prestigious and versatile events venue in Hertfordshire. Additionally, you will have opportunities to work across various client venues and sites around the country.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service, always maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor. Respond swiftly to incidents within the venue, ensuring all matters are handled in accordance with SES procedures. Serve as a point of contact and information centre for the public. Conduct regular patrols of the venue and manage access/egress points as needed. Support onsite management teams as required. Adhere to all SES Group and departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines. Assist and escort visitors within the client's complex when necessary. Perform security searches and follow the HOT procedure for unattended items. Support crowd management and handle disruptions effectively. Identify and report individuals engaging in anti-social behavior, following the company's reporting procedures.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Ability to work well under pressure, particularly during live incidents. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proficient use of radios. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrates integrity in interactions with colleagues, customers, and staff. Capable of performing patrols over long distances and extended periods.

Qualifications

Valid SIA Door Supervisor License (essential) Customer service experience (preferred but not essential). Action Counter Terrorism (ACT) training provided.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 13.85 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 48 per week

Work Location: In person
