Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate First Aiders to join our team providing care to event attendees and football fans across Glasgow. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of guests and staff by providing immediate medical assistance in case of emergencies. This position requires a strong commitment to guest services and the ability to manage situations calmly and effectively within events and football environments.

Duties

Provide first aid treatment to guests and staff as required, ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols. Assess injuries and illnesses, determining the appropriate course of action. Maintain accurate records of incidents and treatments administered. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a safe environment for all guests. Conduct regular checks of first aid supplies and equipment, ensuring they are fully stocked and compliant with regulations. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on first aid practices and emergency response procedures. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, offering support and reassurance during medical emergencies.

Requirements

Valid First Responder certification is preferred; specifically qualifications such as First Response Emergency Care (FREC). However, Event First Aid qualifications from voluntary aid societies and First Aid at Work will be considered. Training can be offered for exceptional candidates. Previous experience in a hospitality setting or guest services is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals. Excellent organisational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks under pressure. A calm demeanour, capable of making quick decisions in emergency situations. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
