Grade 6 starting at 34,610 to 38,784 per annum, pro rata if part time.

About the role

Working as part of a larger team of events professionals, ensuring the accomplishment of assigned event/project objectives; planning event activities; evaluating implementation and progress of each event; support the delivery/organisation of a larger major projects, alumni reunions, overseas alumni receptions, graduations (UK and overseas), etc.


The postholder will lead on the development of our global and civic events programme, creating an agreed number of effective and nuanced programmes within the scope of this area.


The role includes the line management of an Events Coordinator (grade 4).



About you

You will be a confident and experienced events professional with a minimum of 5 years' experience. You will need to be able to balance a large workload of sometimes conflicting priorities and so will need to be able to remain calm under pressure and multitask.


You will have the skills to manage your own workload and at times, support other colleagues. You will communicate clearly with the team, line management, and stakeholders.
