We are seeking a highly organised and proactive
Event Operations Manager
to oversee the smooth day-to-day running of our events and campaigns, up and down the country.
This hybrid role--field-based while at events and office-based when not at events.
This varied hands-on role combines event and campaign management in the field - you will be the face of GottaBe! and our Clients at various events and campaigns, and when not in the field, you will be at our office dealing with administrative responsibilities for upcoming activations.
The ideal candidate will be adaptable, people-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple events and campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
This role requires a natural leader who confidently manages a team of Brand Ambassadors, operates event vehicles, and brings energy and organisation to high-impact campaigns.
You'll play a key role in delivering memorable brand experiences that engage consumers and drive awareness.
What you will be responsible for...
On-the-ground campaign execution: Manage the setup, execution, and breakdown of sampling events, trade shows, and experiential activations.? Check and support our tactical team.
Team leadership: Brief and manage Brand Ambassadors, ensuring professionalism, punctuality, and effective consumer engagement.
Vehicle operation: Safely drive and manage the event van, including the transport of event equipment and stock across the UK.
Brand representation: Act as the face of the brand at events, ensuring all interactions with the public align with campaign tone and messaging.
Logistics & troubleshooting: Handle onsite issues and adapt plans in real time to ensure event success.
Client & stakeholder reporting: Capture event feedback, photos, and key results to provide post-campaign evaluation.
Compliance & safety: Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed during transport, setup, and live activity.? Dealing with event organisers and various event suppliers to manage deliveries, manage paperwork associated with the activations, conduct risk assessments.
Client liaison: Working with our Client Service Team to attend, support and input to regular Client review meetings.
What do you need to succeed in this role...
2+ years of experience in event execution, brand activations, or experiential marketing
Experience managing field teams or promotional staff
Full UK driving licence and confident driving a van (transit size or similar)
Ability to work weekends and travel UK-wide as needed
Confident, energetic, and approachable personality
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Calm under pressure and solution-oriented
Comfortable with light manual handling (e.g., setting up gazebos, moving event stock)
Desirable but not essential:
Previous experience in FMCG sampling or mobile marketing tours
First Aid or Health & Safety training
Experience using event tracking apps or reporting tools

Training / Education Opportunities
Working hours will vary depending on the events and campaign schedule; however, you will be working 37.5 hours per week. When not out and delivering campaigns in the field, you will be based at our Southampton office, and you will be required to work 09.00-17.30 Monday to Thursday and 09.00-17.00 on Fridays, equating to 37.5 hours per week
