Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate efficiently. The Delivery Driver will also assist with warehouse duties, including heavy lifting when necessary.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and returns. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs. Assist in the warehouse as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient delivery operations.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is an advantage. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with warehouse duties. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with local routes and navigation systems is beneficial. A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week
