Level 2 qualified Event Stewards

to join our growing team in Birmingham.

Role Overview

As an Event Steward with Pentagon Global, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, security, and positive experience of all attendees. You will be part of a professional team delivering crowd management, customer service, and event safety duties at a variety of events, including sports fixtures and large-scale gatherings.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure the safety of spectators, staff, and all event attendees. Maintain vigilance and awareness throughout the event. Follow instructions from Safety Managers or event leadership teams. Adhere to event dress code and arrive punctually for all shifts. Attend briefings to ensure full understanding of event roles and procedures. Provide excellent customer service by greeting and directing attendees. Report any damage, defects, or potential safety hazards promptly. Assist in event evacuations when required. Understand emergency procedures, signals, and communication methods. Identify and report fire hazards, suspicious items, or unusual activity.

What We're Looking For

A

valid Level 2 Spectator Safety NcFE qualification or higher

(required). Reliable, professional, and approachable individuals. Strong communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Experience in event stewarding is beneficial but not essential -- a positive attitude and teamwork mindset matter most. An SIA licence is

not required

, but would be considered an advantage.

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
