Job Overview:

As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain a secure environment through vigilant surveillance and proactive security measures.

Responsibilities:

- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and unauthorized access.

- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the premises are secure and respond promptly to any security incidents.

- Provide surveillance for suspicious activities and report any breaches of security.

- Administer First Aid when necessary and coordinate emergency responses effectively.

- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required and assist in investigations.

- Maintain accurate records of security incidents and prepare detailed reports as needed.

Skills:

- Knowledge of loss prevention methods to safeguard assets.

- Ability to administer first aid in emergency situations.

- Strong attention to detail and alertness to detect security threats.

- Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff and visitors effectively.

Preferred Skills:

- Be able to communicate effectively in Welsh desirable.

- Experience in a security-related role.

- Familiarity with handling challenging situations with professionalism and integrity.

Job Details:

- Spring/ Summer 2026

- Approximately 4-6 weeks work for the right candidate.

- Shift Work

- Door Supervisor License is required as a minimum.

- Due to the location of the event being a driver is essential or a form of transport will be needed to ensure a timely arrival. (Public transport is not an option)

- The payment terms will be PAYE or Self employed with a UTR number.

Job Types: Temporary, Freelance
Contract length: 4 weeks

Pay: 13.00 per hour
