Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Steward to join our team in delivering exceptional service within our hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organisation, ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of guest satisfaction. This position requires a strong focus on guest services and the ability to manage various tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, kitchens, and service stations. Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. Manage the collection and cleaning of dishes, utensils, and glassware, ensuring all items are returned to their designated areas promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Provide excellent guest services by responding promptly to requests and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Uphold high standards of hygiene and sanitation throughout the establishment.

Skills

Strong ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on professionalism. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
